Currency futures
A futures contract under which the seller agrees to deliver a standardized amount of a given currency and the buyer agrees to take delivery of it, on a specific date in the future, at a set exchange rate.
Other terms, such as currency future, currency futures contract, foreign currency future, foreign currency futures contract, foreign exchange future and foreign exchange futures contract, are sometimes used to designate a currency futures.
